King and Grove Team Up with Danny Meyer for Restaurant

King and Grove announce plans to open a restaurant in their NoMad location with the help of Danny Meyer

Hotel brand King and Grove has announced that they will be opening a restaurant in their Manhattan branch sometime this year. The hotel, located on 29th Street and Madison in NoMad, has earned a reputation for elegance with their 276 guest rooms, replete with plush bedding and lavish amenities.

The new restaurant will be created in partnership with Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, which has had immense success with their other ventures Gramercy Tavern, Shake Shack and Blue Smoke. Danny’s involvement can pretty much guarantee that the King and Grove restaurant will be a huge success.

Officially, the planned restaurant has not been given a name, but we do know that the kitchen will be led by Nick Anderer, executive chef at the Gramercy Park Hotel’s Maialino restaurant. The contents of the menu have not been announced, but the restaurant is expected to seat for an early breakfast service and remain open through the late evening.

We’re thrilled at the news of the restaurant and cannot wait to make our first visit in mid-2014.
