July 4th Festivities in the NoMad District
Looking for something to do on July 4th? The NoMad District has you covered.
Want to have a good night at the Ace Hotel? They are offering a great deal through July 5th. You can book one of their “bunk rooms” for $189 a night and they will throw in a Heineken pony keg. To take advantage of this, book online and enter the code “JULY4” and enjoy.
The Madison Square Park Conservancy is offering a free concert in Madison Square Park. The concert features American roots music, bluegrass and rockabilly. Noam Pikelny, the virtuosic banjo player from the Punch Brothers, is headlining the show and has a 5pm set time. The Sweetback Sisters at 4pm and Sputyen Duyvil at 3pm will be opening the show.
Another great kid friendly event is occurring in Madison Square Park in the NoMad District. From 10am – 12:30pm you can bring your kids to the park to create “patriotic tops.” In addition, from 2:00 – 4:30pm your kids can create “star spangled batons.”
