Jennifer Lopez’s New NoMad Apartment
The New York Daily News reports that pop music icon Jennifer Lopez is moving to NoMad. The pop sensation signed a contract for the $22 million penthouse condo on top of the Whitman Building.
The Whitman Building, an elegant brick and limestone building on the northern border of Madison Square Park, is already home to three well-known residents: Chelsea Clinton, Jeff Gordon and hedge-funder John Silvetz. J. Lo.’s purchase of the penthouse means that all of the building’s four units are now occupied.
The penthouse unit is a duplex with 6,540 square-feet of interior space and 3,000 square feet of outdoor space. The unit’s outdoor space is luxurious and includes a terrace, croquet pitch, a roof deck and a putting green. The building’s amenities include a full-time doorman, private storage, a private elevator landing, gym and amazing views of the park.
