HG Stones, Supplier to Iconic Projects, Opens Showroom in NoMad
From ICRAVE to Pentagram and Grey, NoMad-based businesses have an impact far beyond our neighborhood — on greater New York City and the world. Earlier this year, one more leader joined the ever-growing list when HG Stones unveiled its new showroom at 28 West 25th Street.
A leading importer and wholesaler of tile and natural stone, HG Stones imports beautiful materials directly from its own quarries and processing facilities in Bangalore, India. HG Stones has completed numerous high-profile projects around NYC, including Diller Scofidio + Renfro’s plaza at Lincoln Center, COOKFOX’s One Bryant Park (Bank of America Tower), Carlos Zapata’s Standard Hotel at Cooper Square and many more.
The NoMad showroom of HG Stones, open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, is intended to serve as a resource center for design professionals throughout the city. The company’s Chairman Babu Reddy commented at the time that “architects, designers, kitchen and bath professionals will now have direct access to exclusive surface materials for all of their project needs. The showroom will be a fantastic functional space for clients to experience the many surface possibilities, all in one location.”
