Heyday Facial Pop-Up Heralds Expansion into TriBeCa
For all the charms that come with living and working in New York, we also must absorb the stresses of career competition and the daily Odyssean tests of the subway. That’s why it is so wonderful to have Heyday’s flagship here in NoMad so we can restore our skin from the daily wear and tear of life.
Heyday opened its first shop at 1130 Broadway in 2015 and with it introduced an entirely new philosophy to the world of facials. Heyday decided to simplify the experience of getting a facial by helping to make it a normal, accessible part of a life routine for customers. In fact, stripped of the all the fuss, expensive price tags and difficulty of getting an appointment, Heyday has been called the “Anti-Spa” by the website Racked.
Rather than an exotic set of pricey options, Heyday offers just two facial options: a 30-minute and 50-minute session, which are customized depending on whatever issue the customer is looking to resolve. Further breaking the mold, Heyday has endeavored to make facials and manicures more affordable and allows for online and app-based reservations.
Being pampered in Heyday’s flagship salon, with its soft lighting and soothing colors, is a great pick-me-up and can make a short visit seem like a vacation. For care after you leave, Heyday offers a carefully curated selection of beauty products for sale.
The result of all this has been tremendous success for Heyday, including being named the Best Facial in 2016 by New York Magazine!
Now, Heyday is building on its success over the past year, and it is opening a pop-up store downtown, in the Financial District. Located temporarily within the salon Tenoverten, Heyday will offer facials, manicures, and beauty products to a whole new customer base. The pop-up will run for six weeks and is a fantastic opportunity to receive both a facial and manicure on the same day.
For Heyday, the pop-up also represents a chance to become acclimated to the neighborhood downtown, because it will be expanding permanently to a new location in TriBeCa sometime this summer! We are so happy that Heyday’s NoMad flagship is becoming a base for an expanding facial empire and a whole new paradigm in skin care.
