Great Crowd Makes for an Exciting NoMad Mixer at The Churchill Tavern

Following the success of our first NoMad Mixer, we couldn’t wait to host another networking celebration in the neighborhood.  The Churchill Tavern stepped up to the plate to offer its fantastic upstairs room in which our neighbors could mingle.

For the night, we were transported to England in the closest thing to a traditional pub, this side of the pond.  The Churchill’s festive British decor and lively atmosphere gave the party a great vibe.  Where else can you hear great Winston Churchill speeches in the restroom?

Many friendships were made and cards exchanged as guests enjoyed drinks and munched on fish and chips, fried artichoke hearts, buffalo chicken meatballs, and pub fries generously provided by The Churchill.  In addition to some very high energy NoMad residents, we had a diverse array of neighborhood businesses represented, including:

Bread & Tulips
M Tucker
Blueberry Builders
The Evelyn
Kew Management
Electric Orange Creative
Corcoran
The Madison Square Park Conservancy
Maxwell’s Chophouse
Pergola
Chill/Radd
and many more

Also mingling in the room were NoMad Alliance Board members: Alf Naman, Leslie Spira Lopez, Sinead Naughton, Daniel Murphy and Richard Falk.

We never ceased to be amazed by the diversity of businesses, the creativity and the downright friendliness of the NoMad crowd. There is always an exciting project or new business concept to learn about.
