Fred Hersch, Esperanza Spalding & Richie Barshay
Vanity Fair calls six-time Grammy Award nominee Fred Hersch, “the most arrestingly innovative pianist in jazz over the last decade or so.” Since taking the scene in the late 70s, Hersch has become one of the best known pianists through his release of more than forty albums. Playing material from his new LP Floating, Hersch will be joined by Grammy Award winning bassist and vocalist Esperanza Spalding, and drummer Richie Barshay.
The trio will perform sets at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday evening, with an additional 11:30 p.m. set on Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets for the shows cost $30 per person and are available for purchase online or at the door. Hersch will round out the weekend with two solo sets Sunday evening (7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.). Tickets for the solo concerts are $25 per person.
