If you’ve got good taste, there’s a good chance Dad may be part of the reason why. This Father’s Day, celebrate Dad with a meal that delivers in every way. We’ve selected from some of NoMad’s best-known eateries and put together fail-proof menu options so you can treat him to food that’ll make the day memorable.

Blue Smoke

If Dad likes down-home smoked meats, get some of New York City’s finest barbecue from Danny Meyer’s Blue Smoke. While NoMad eagerly awaits the reopening of its 27th Street location, thankfully you can get still get Blue Smoke’s famous pit barbecue from its Battery Park location.

You can’t go wrong with its Pulled Pork (half pound or pound – rubbed, slow-smoked, and hand-pulled) or a Whole Smoked Brisket (5-6 pounds smoked over Hickory and Oak for 16 hours). And don’t forget a side of Blue Smoke’s creamy Macaroni and Cheese – it’s legendary..

Order pick-up or delivery here. Blue Smoke is planning to fire up the smokers in NoMad soon, so stay tuned to @bluesmokenyc for updates.

You can’t go wrong with the Smith Burger – made to order, with American cheese, apple smoked bacon, pickles, crispy onions, and TSB sauce. Or try the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with burrata, tomato jam, and basil aioli. Both come with fries or greens. But don’t let that keep you from the Brussels sprouts with orange zest and sea salt – they shouldn’t be missed. And best of all, you can order a Negroni, Midtown Manhattan, or a variety of other cocktails, wines, and beers (but only if you’re 21+). Toast to everything he is and has done for you.

Shorty’s ships its bread directly from the City of Brotherly Love, then bakes it fresh on the premises. He’ll taste the real deal with the Original Cheesesteak, Pepper Steak Sandwich, or Cheesesteak Hoagie. Or choose from wide variety of Philly Style sandwiches and salads, wings and fingers, and sides to create a spread he won’t soon forget.
