Eataly’s La Bellezza Eataliana
Popular Italian market and restaurant Eataly will host an evening of food, wine and culture this weekend. The event, titled La Bellezza Eataliana, brings together what the store describes as “tutte le cose belle Italiane,” (all the beautiful Italian things). The night is a fundraiser for The Global Fund, a non-profit that combats AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria worldwide.
During the event, attendees will have exclusive access to roam Eataly after-hours. Running from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., La Bellezza Eataliana provides patrons the chance to enjoy a menu of pasta dishes and coffees provided by Barilla and Lavazza. Patrons will also be able to chose from a selection of wines, beers and speciality cocktails. Urbani white truffles will be available at an additional cost.
The culmination of the evening will feature Eataly founder Oscar Farinetti hosting a special live broadcast from Torino of a concert of works by Italian composer Gioachino Rossini. Maestro Gianandrea Noseda will conduct by the world-renowned Teatro Regio Torino orchestra and chorus. The musical performance will be followed with a course of spaghetti and a toast to cap the evening.
The benefit evening of wine, food and music is on Sunday, December 7th, from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. Tickets for the fundraiser are only $85 per person and can be purchased online.
