Daniel Humm Introduces Chicken Burger Lunch at The NoMad
Popular restaurant, bar and hotel The NoMad launched a new prix fixe lunch menu this week. The prix fixe lunch, replacing all options from the previous menu, is offered weekdays from noon until 2 p.m. and includes two-courses for $29.
The menu is designed by the restaurant’s famed chef Daniel Humm and is reminiscent of The NoMad’s grander dinner options. That’s not to say, that the new menu doesn’t have its own tantalizing lunch-only dishes.
The team here at experiencenomad.com can’t wait to try the chicken burger entrée — a chicken and black-truffle patty topped with truffle mayonnaise, gruyére and foie gras inside a brioche bun baked with lemon zest and more gruyére and chopped black truffles. Other entrée options include flatbread baked with cauliflower, egg, lemon and parsley; and beef navarin with spaghetti squash, brussels sprouts and pomme purée.
The first-course has some rather luxurious lunch options as well — starters like beets marinated with quinoa, yogurt and cumin; pear salad with daikon, hazelnuts and pecorino; and chicken velouté (chicken liver mousse) served with hen of the woods mushrooms.
