Black Barn Celebrates Thanksgiving and Supports a Great Cause
One of our favorite restaurants in the neighborhood is undoubtably Black Barn, helmed by NoMad Alliance board member Chef John Doherty. The restaurant has two major announcements for the month of November that we know our NoMad neighbors will love to hear about.
We can’t believe it, but the holidays are upon us and restaurants in the neighborhood are booking up fast. Black Barn is no exception and we suggest planning ahead to make your reservations for its delicious prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner. The dinner includes three appetizers, five sides and, of course, a turkey main course (if you want to be traditional) with dessert for just $85 per adult and $35 per child (12 and under). This is the perfect excuse to take a break from the kitchen this Thanksgiving and enjoy menu items such as wild mushroom toast, beef tenderloin with red wine sauce and sausage and apple stuffing — yum!
Make your reservation today by calling (212) 265-5959, emailing at reservations@blackbarnrestaurant.com or visiting Open Table.
Thanksgiving reminds us all to count our blessings in life and look for ways to help those in need in our community, and Black Barn continues to do their part to give back. There will be a benefit dinner on Tuesday, November 14th specifically aimed at helping feed our community in need this holiday season. Make a reservation today for the seated four course dinner, with proceeds going to the hunger-fighting charities Heavenly Harvest and Feed the Children.
The proceeds will be targeted to help those affected by recent natural disasters, with a goal of funding 34,000 meals for families in need. Sign on for one of the ticket packages, which start at $250.
